Meet Sterling

The namesake of the company, Sterling works as a senior network technician here at Sterling Ideas. He spends his days solving high-priority networking issues, managing ongoing projects, and visiting clients. He also trains our newer network technicians and shares valuable technical knowledge on our blog.

Before deciding that he wanted to work for the family company, a much younger Sterling dreamed of being a wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was, and still is, an avid Bucs fan. He also played high school football at Seven Rivers Christian School, where he graduated as valedictorian.

After high school, Sterling headed off to the University of Florida where he graduated early with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. While at UF, Sterling was a dedicated Gators fan, enjoyed exploring Gainesville, and even became the UF Intramural Cornhole Champion (if you ask us, this was the peak of Sterling’s collegiate success). After graduation, he immediately joined the Sterling Ideas Team and brought tons of fresh ideas and a new face to the business.

Now, Sterling spends his time seeing friends and family, cheering on the Bucs and the Lightning, and exploring Tampa. Along with football (and cornhole, right?), he has taken up golfing and spends a lot of time out on the course.

The Sterling Ideas Team is so grateful for Sterling—he brings so much hard work, laughter, and personality to our team. As clients of Sterling Ideas, you surely know how hard Sterling works to keep your company running, your data safe, and your users well-trained. If you’re not one of our clients and haven’t had the privilege of meeting this great guy, give us a call! You’ll love knowing and working with him.
